Friday August 16th –  Sunday August 18th 2019 

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge itself takes in the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m). The aim of the Challenge is to walk this 25 miles route within 12 hours. 

Take on the challenge and help raise awareness of the Lymphoma Action Charity.  Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer and the most common cancer in young people aged 15-24. 

Yorkshire Three Peaks weekend
Spend the weekend in the Yorkshire Dales. We’ll provide you with 2 nights accommodation with breakfast included at our exclusively hired hostel in the heart of the Dales. Arrive the night before you attempt to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, and relax knowing that you won’t have far to go after the challenge is done. You also have a support driver en route during the challenge and a Hike Leaders supporting you all the way.

The Cost for the Challenge Weekend:
£139 with an initial deposit of £60 to secure a place. 
There will be fundraising packs for everyone participating to raise sponsorship for taking on the challenge.
There is no set target, however we would encourage everyone to raise at least a minimum of £100

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night, we have booked exclusive use of a bunk barn at the base of Whernside

Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday at the bunkbarn. This consists of a cooked breakfast, fruit, cereals, yoghurts, toast, coffee, tea etc. Certainly plenty of stuff to fuel us for the day!

Saturday evening meal after the Challenge

Hike Leaders equipped with First Aid and Radios

Logistical support and planning

Support vehicle which will be at the various points with drinks and snack

Financial protection in accordance with the Package Travel Law 1992.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

Transport to and from the Challenge

Lunches (packed lunch available at an extra cost)

Booking

To book your place on this trip,  complete the booking form and (a) Deposit of £60 of total trip price per person or (b) The full trip cost. If only the deposit is paid at time of booking then full payment of the trip is required no less than 8 weeks before the trip start date. If you book your trip within 4 weeks of the trip start date, the full trip cost is required at time of booking.

Cancellation by Us

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the trip you will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid or we will offer you the opportunity to book onto another weekend trip. If the trip is cancelled because the minimum number of people required to operate this weekend hasn’t been reached then you will be notified no less than 3 calendar months before the start date. If the trip is cancelled by us we will not be responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred such as travel expenses & no compensation will be paid to cover these expenses.

Cancellation by You

If you have to cancel your trip then please notify us as soon as possible. We always try to be fair and will always try to move you to different trip date if possible. If you cancel your trip less than 4 weeks before the start date then you will lose all monies already paid.

Cooling Off Period

If you decide to cancel your trip after receipt of your booking form you will be entitled to a 14 day cooling off period. During this time you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid.

Consumer Protection

In order to comply with EU Travel Regulations 1992 your deposit & final payment will be held in a separate account until your trip is completed. This is to ensure the financial security of your trip.

Insurance

Escape Your Everyday does not accept liability for personal injury howsoever caused, or for the loss or damage of property while participating on any Escape Your Everyday event. It is strongly recommended that you take out appropriate insurance to cover yourself against potential personal accident or loss or damage to personal property.

Safety

Hiking, biking and kayaking  are strenuous activities & all person undertaking this trip do so at their own risk & Escape Your Everyday cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur whilst on the trip.

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure your data is kept safe and secure and only use the contact details we have to send information connected with the booking and the occasional email newsletter.
